TEMPORARY PARTIAL DISABILITY (TPD)
If your doctor has returned you to work in a light duty capacity and/or on a part-time basis, and you are now earning a lower wage than you were prior to your work injury, you may be entitled to receive Temporary Partial Disability (TPD) benefits.
TPD is calculated by taking 2/3 (66 2/3%) of the difference between the average amount that you would be able to earn in the full performance of your pre-injury job duties and the net amount which you are earning in the modified job provided by your employer.
You are entitled to receive TPD until you either return to your regular job or have reached Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI).
